Wilkerson Filters
General Purpose Filters or Water Traps
Generally known as Type A filters, these filters remove particles down to 5.0 microns.
Wilkerson filters are highly efficient at removing dirt, rust pipe scale and other particulate contaminants down to 5 microns and are over 97% efficient at separating out liquid water and oils with low pressure drops at rated flows.
Usually used as a pre-filter where oil removal filters are required.

Coalescing Filters – Oil Removal
These are specifically designed for the removal of solid particles, water and oil aerosols down to 0.01 micron. Two filter grades, B, B1 and C are used for these applications. The B or B1 grade of filter should be used as a pre-filter for Grade C coalescing filters.
